Job Title: Site Manager – New Build Residential
Location: Bicester, Oxfordshire
Start Date: April 2026
Rate: £250 – £270 per day (CIS / Ltd) – DOE

The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a new build residential development in Bicester, starting in April. This is a freelance role with a reputable contractor delivering a high-quality housing scheme.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to programme

• Manage subcontractors, trades, and suppliers on site

• Enforce health & safety standards and site compliance

• Monitor build progress and report into senior management

• Carry out quality control inspections and snagging

• Maintain site records, RAMS, and permits

• Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders

Requirements

• Proven track record as a Site Manager on new build residential projects

• SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), and First Aid (essential)

• Strong leadership and organisational skills

• Excellent knowledge of construction processes and H&S regulations

• Ability to drive programme and manage multiple trades

Desirable

• Experience with volume housebuilders

• NVQ Level 6 (or equivalent)

• Temporary Works / Scaffold Inspection tickets
