Site Manager - External Refurbishment


Location: Acton, West London
Rate: -230 - -250 per day
Duration: 5 Months
Start Date: Mid-March 2026



The Role


We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead a 5-month external upgrade project for a sheltered housing scheme in Acton. This is a sensitive residential environment requiring a manager who is as competent with health and safety as they are with resident liaison.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of a varied external works package, ensuring subcontractors hit milestones while maintaining a clean, safe, and respectful site.



Scope of Works


  • External Upgrades: Brick rendering, repointing, and general brickwork.

  • Glazing: Full window reglazing and unit replacements.

  • Structural: Balcony upgrades and comprehensive roof works.

  • Compliance: Managing site safety in a live, sheltered housing environment.


Requirements


  • Experience: Proven track record in social housing or sheltered scheme refurbishments.

  • Qualifications: Valid SMSTS, First Aid at Work, and a CSCS Black/Gold Card.

  • Skills: Ability to manage multiple trades (renderers, window fitters, roofers) and maintain a strict 5-month programme.

  • Vibe: A "resident-first" mindset-understanding how to minimize disruption for elderly or vulnerable tenants.
