Job Role: Site Manager               

Area: London

Salary: £27 - £32ph (freelance permanent basis)

My client is looking for a Site Manager to deliver exceptional quality to luxury commercial and hospitality projects across London.

We are seeking a proactive, detail-driven Site Manager with proven experience in high-end joinery fit-outs. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site operations from start to finish, ensuring works are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, coordinate, and manage all site activities for bespoke joinery and fit-out projects.
• Liaise with project managers, designers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure seamless execution.
• Oversee the installation of high-specification joinery items, ensuring adherence to design intent and finish requirements.
• Manage site teams, subcontractors, and trades, ensuring high productivity and quality.
• Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting site inductions and maintaining documentation.
• Monitor and report on progress, quality, snagging, and any site-related issues.
• Conduct daily site briefings and toolbox talks as required.
• Review and interpret technical drawings and joinery schedules.
• Manage site logistics, deliveries, and storage of specialist materials and components.
• Maintain clear communication with internal workshop teams and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will be:

• CSCS card at Site Manager level
• Valid SMSTS certificate
• NVQ in Carpentry and Joinery
• 5 years as a Site Manager or supervisor
• Proven track record of motivating staff and managing a site effectively
