Site Manager (Commercial)

Job Summary

Our client is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Site Manager (Commercial) to lead and oversee all aspects of their construction projects (Healthcare, Education and Commercial) on-site. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate with various teams, manage resources, and ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Your leadership will drive project success by supervising day-to-day operations, maintaining high standards of quality, and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all site activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and safety protocols.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders including clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth operations.
• Supervise site personnel, providing clear direction and support to ensure productivity and safety compliance.
• Oversee procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery to meet project milestones.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify quality standards are maintained and safety regulations are strictly followed.
• Prepare detailed reports on project status, risks, and issues for senior management review.

Experience

• SMSTS, First Aid, Black CSCS
• Proven management experience in a commercial construction environment with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within scope.
• Demonstrated supervising experience overseeing diverse teams on active construction sites.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise confidently with clients, contractors, suppliers, and team members.
