Site Manager

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Freelance Site Manager to oversee a programme of loft and cavity wall insulation works in Sudbury. This is a 6-month contract starting on 14th September 2026 and will involve managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards while maintaining an excellent experience for residents and customers. The successful candidate will be highly organised, confident managing operatives and subcontractors, and comfortable working with IT-based systems for reporting, compliance and job management. Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day delivery of loft and cavity wall insulation works. Coordinate and supervise installation teams, subcontractors and site activities. Ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with programme requirements. Maintain excellent Health and Safety standards across all works. Carry out site inspections, toolbox talks, inductions and safety briefings. Ensure RAMS and other site documentation are understood and adhered to. Identify, report and manage site risks, defects and Health and Safety concerns. Monitor workmanship and ensure installations meet required quality and compliance standards. Maintain accurate site records and update internal IT/job management systems. Monitor progress against programme targets and provide regular reports and updates.
