Site Manager

We are looking for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee a fire door installation/remedial works scheme in Peterborough.

The project will be delivered within a live environment, so the successful candidate must be confident managing works around building occupants, maintaining high standards of health & safety, coordinating trades and ensuring disruption is kept to a minimum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day management of the fire door works
• Managing and coordinating subcontractors and site operatives
• Ensuring works are completed safely, to programme and to the required quality standards
• Managing works effectively within a live/occupied environment
• Site inductions, toolbox talks and general H&S compliance
• Liaising with the client, residents/occupants and project team
• Monitoring progress and reporting on site activities
• Ensuring good housekeeping and professional site standards throughout

Essential Requirements:

• Valid SMSTS
• Valid CSCS Card
• Valid First Aid
• Available for Day and Night shifts
• Previous experience working as a Site Manager
• Experience managing projects in live/occupied environments
• Strong health & safety knowledge
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
