      <description>Location: St. Albans | Salary: 10000-500000 Annual | Type: Permanent | We are looking for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to take a key role in the delivery of a £5m Cat B commercial fit-out project in St Albans.  This is a 6-month freelance position starting in December and would suit a strong, hands-on Site Manager with an excellent background in commercial Cat A and Cat B fit-out projects. The Role You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. Key responsibilities will include:  Day-to-day management of approximately 20 operatives and subcontractors Coordinating trades and ensuring works remain on programme Managing site logistics and daily activities Maintaining high standards of health and safety Managing inductions, RAMS and site documentation Monitoring quality and ensuring works are completed to specification Keeping on top of the site''s biometric signing-in system and workforce attendance Liaising with the Project Manager, subcontractors and wider project team Managing short-term programmes and identifying potential delays Maintaining a professional, well-organised and productive site Occasional weekend working where required by the programme ...</description>
