Job Title: Site Manager - Civil EngineeringLocation: Witham, EssexSalary: 60,000 - 65,000 per annum (depending on experience)Job Type: Permanent, Full TimeWalker Construction is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our growing team for an exciting civil engineering project based in Witham, Essex.This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and hands-on Site Manager looking to build a long-term career with an established and respected contractor. Whilst the project is within a railway station car park, previous rail experience is not essential. What is essential is a strong civil engineering background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to hit the ground running on a fast-paced project.The initial project is expected to last approximately 12 months, with ongoing opportunities available within Walker Construction beyond this scheme.About the role:You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme, and to the required quality standards.Key duties:Managing all site activities and subcontractorsEnsuring compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standardsCoordinating labour, plant and materialsLiaising with clients, stakeholders and the wider project teamMonitoring progress and resolving issues as they ariseProducing site records and maintaining project documentationDriving programme delivery while maintaining high standards of workmanshipAbout ..... full job details .....
