Site Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and degree qualified Site Manager for a permanent position on a new build and refurbishment project in Manchester City Centre. This role involves overseeing a andpound;2 million office build project as part of a negotiated contract , with an expected duration of 20 weeks
The contract has been procured under the NEC form of contract indicating the need for a commercially sound manager with experience in early warning notices and compensation events which would be an advantage although full training on the NEC contract will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:
andbull; Manage the construction site, ensuring that work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
andbull; Supervise all on-site personnel, including subcontractors, suppliers, and construction workers
andbull; Monitor project progress and provide regular reports to senior management.
andbull; Ensure that the project is delivered to the highest possible standard and meets all regulatory requirements.
andbull; Proactivity in identifying and resolving on site issues before they become apparent
andbull; Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities.

Requirements:
andbull; Degree qualification in construction (essential)
andbull; Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid
andbull; Previous experience in new build office projects in a city centre
andbull; Previous experience with early warning notices and compensation events
andbull; Ability to manage projects up to andpound;2 million
andbull; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
andbull; Strong leadership and team management abilities
andbull; Proficient in managing subcontractors and suppliers
andbull; Expertise in health and safety regulations
andbull; Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
