We are currently working alongside a social housing contractor in the Warrington area who is recruiting for a Site Manager to work on a kitchen and bathroom refurbishment scheme.
Job Description:
As a Site Manager working on planned works programmes, your role will be pivotal in ensuring the successful delivery of projects. You will play a key role in managing and coordinating the delivery of planned works to the highest standards, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and coordinate on-site construction and refurbishment activities, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and schedule requirements.
- Oversee subcontractors, tradespeople, and site staff, ensuring their work is aligned with project specifications and goals.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, keeping them informed of project progress and addressing their needs and concerns.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Monitor project costs and resources to ensure projects stay on budget and on schedule.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to make sure project objectives are met.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Site Manager, preferably in social housing or planned works.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Valid construction-related certifications and qualifications e. SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS.
