We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a short-term project involving refurbishment works and asbestos remediation on a live university site.

The role requires a strong focus on health & safety, coordination of specialist contractors, and maintaining project timelines within a sensitive, occupied environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification
• Ensure strict compliance with health & safety procedures
• Liaise with university stakeholders and subcontractors
• Monitor progress and report on programme milestones
• Maintain accurate site records and documentation

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on refurbishment projects
• Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid at Work
• Asbestos Awareness
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to manage works in a live/public-facing environment
