Site Manager

The Company

An established main contractor specialising in the delivery of high-quality residential construction projects is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their growing team. With a strong focus on quality, safety and successful project delivery, they are looking for a confident Site Manager who can take full responsibility for projects from inception through to completion.

As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing residential developments involving reinforced concrete (RC) frame construction. The successful Site Manager will have a proven track record of managing projects from start to finish, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.

The Site Manager will be confident managing subcontractors, coordinating site activities and maintaining effective communication with the wider project team.

• Manage residential construction projects from initial site setup through to practical completion and handover.

  
  
  

• Oversee RC frame packages and subsequent construction works.

  
  
  

• Coordinate subcontractors, labour, materials and site logistics.

  
  
  

• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with programme requirements and quality standards.

  
  
  

• Maintain high standards of health and safety across the site.

  
  
  

• Conduct site inspections, progress meetings and quality checks.

  
  
  

• Liaise with the Project Manager, commercial team and subcontractors to resolve site issues.

  
  
  

• Ensure all relevant site documentation and reporting are maintained.

  
  
  

• Proven experience working as a Site Manager on residential construction projects.

  
  
  

• Demonstrable experience delivering projects from start to finish.

  
  
  

• Strong knowledge and practical experience of RC frame construction.

  
  
  

• Previous experience working for a main contractor.

  
  
  

• Confident managing subcontractors and multiple trades throughout the construction process.

  
  
  

• Excellent organisational, leadership and communication skills.

  
  
  

• Valid SMSTS, CSCS Card and First Aid at Work qualifications.

  
  
  

• Relevant construction qualification such as an HNC/HND or degree in Construction Management, or equivalent industry experience.

  
  
  

• -65,000 per annum
