Site Manager (No.1) Freelance Newcastle Temporary Start: 3rd or 10th AugustDuration: 20 weeks We''re looking for an experienced No.1 Site Manager to take full responsibility for a 3m project at a live manufacturing facility in Newcastle. The role will see you managing the site from start to finish, coordinating subcontractors, driving programme and ensuring work is delivered safely and to a high standard. Scope of works:Concrete mezzanineMini pilingInternal fit-outLive manufacturing environment (although not the area they are working in)We''re looking for someone who is comfortable taking ownership of a project rather than simply supervising it. Ideally you''ll have:Experience as a No.1 Site Manager on projects in the 2m- 5m range.A main contractor background.Experience delivering industrial, manufacturing, commercial or refurbishment projects.SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid.Strong organisational and subcontractor management skills.Previous experience working within a live manufacturing or operational environment would be an advantage, although it''s not essential.
