Site Manager Civil Engineering Leicester Location: Leicester, Leicestershire Job Type: Freelance Sector: Civil Engineering / Infrastructure Start Date: ASAP Job Description Bond Recruit are currently looking for an experienced Civil Site Manager to oversee a major civils and infrastructure project in Leicester. The successful Site Manager will have a strong background in delivering civil engineering projects, including highways, roads, drainage, roundabouts, retaining walls, earthworks and associated infrastructure works. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, coordinating subcontractors, plant and labour, ensuring works are completed safely and efficiently, and maintaining project programme deadlines. Key Responsibilities Oversee all civil engineering operations on site, including highways, drainage, roads, roundabouts and retaining walls. Manage subcontractors, plant operators and site teams. Coordinate drainage installations, road construction, groundworks, earthworks and associated infrastructure activities. Ensure works are delivered in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications and project requirements. Maintain high standards of health and safety across the site. Monitor progress, manage site resources and report directly to the Project Manager. Ensure quality standards, programme targets and project deadlines are achieved.
