Site Manager(Hands On) Location: Biggleswade, BedfordshireContract Length: 3 weeksStart Date: Monday 12 October 2026Rate: 275 per daySector: Commercial Refurbishment / Roofing / Fit-Out The Role We are looking for an experienced Site Manager / Site Supervisor to oversee a 3-week refurbishment project in Biggleswade. The project involves roof replacement and internal fit-out works within an occupied building, including cut-and-carve works. The successful candidate will take day-to-day responsibility for site operations, coordinating trades and subcontractors while ensuring the works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme. Key ResponsibilitiesTake full day-to-day responsibility for site operations and supervision.Coordinate subcontractors, labour and deliveries.Manage roof replacement and internal fit-out works within an occupied building.Ensure works are properly planned and carried out in accordance with RAMS.Maintain all required site paperwork, records and daily reports.Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks and regular site inspections.Monitor health and safety, quality and progress throughout the works.Manage the interface between the construction works and building occupants.Ensure the site remains clean, safe and secure throughout the project.Identify and resolve issues quickly to maintain programme.Liaise with the project team and provide regular progress updates.Ensure works are completed to the required standard and within the 3-week ..... full job details .....
