Your new companyHays Civil Engineering are working with a leading infrastructure contractor delivering improvements to a wastewater treatment facility near Ashby-de-la-Zouch. As part of an ongoing investment programme, the project involves upgrading treatment assets and associated infrastructure to support future demand and improve operational performance. An experienced Site Manager is required to support the delivery team through a key phase of construction, testing and final project completion.Your new roleReporting into the Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing site activities and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with programme requirements.Key responsibilities include:Managing day-to-day site operationsCoordinating subcontractors and suppliersDriving compliance with health, safety and environmental standardsMonitoring progress against programme targetsManaging permits, inspections and site documentationLiaising with engineering and commercial teamsEnsuring quality standards are maintained throughout deliverySupporting commissioning and handover activitiesIdentifying and resolving construction challenges on siteWhat you''ll need to succeedPrevious Site Management experience within water, utilities or civil engineering projectsStrong background managing operational construction sitesExperience supervising subcontractors and direct labourSound knowledge of CDM regulations and site safety proceduresSMSTSCSCS CardFirst Aid ..... full job details .....
