Approach Personnel are currently looking for an experienced Non-Working Site Manager to oversee a short-term project on a railway site in Ashford.
Location: Kent (TN24)
Start Date: Tuesday, 28th April
Duration: 4 weeks
Role Overview:
This is a straightforward site management role overseeing a small team on a live railway site. The position is primarily supervisory, ensuring site compliance, health & safety, and smooth day-to-day operations. With only a small number of operatives on site, this is a low-intensity project but requires a reliable and experienced Site Manager to maintain standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing site health & safety and ensuring compliance at all times
- Managing and supervising a small number of operatives on site
- Conducting site inductions and maintaining site records
- Liaising with contractors and stakeholders as required
- Ensuring works are carried out in line with programme and safety regulations
Requirements:
- SMSTS
- First Aid at Work (FAW)
- PASMA
- Previous experience working on construction or rail-related sites (preferred)
- Strong understanding of site health & safety procedures
Additional Information:
