Site Maintenance Operative

SITE MAINTENANCE OPERATIVE We are currently recruiting for a Site Operative to work for one of our clients in Portbury on a temp to perm basis. This is a hands-on role responsible for the general upkeep, maintenance and presentation of the site and grounds. The successful candidate will be practical, reliable and happy working outdoors, carrying out a variety of general maintenance and site duties. Key Responsibilities: General upkeep and maintenance of the site and surrounding grounds. Keeping car parks, walkways and working areas clean, tidy and presentable. Painting and maintaining car parking lines and markings. Carrying out minor repairs and basic maintenance around the site. Identifying and reporting any maintenance issues or hazards. General grounds maintenance and keeping outdoor areas in good condition. Moving materials, equipment and other items around the site as required. Assisting with general site duties and upkeep. Ensuring the site remains safe, clean and well maintained. Using basic hand and power tools where required. Supporting the wider site team with ad-hoc maintenance tasks. The Ideal Candidate: Previous experience in site maintenance, grounds maintenance, facilities, general maintenance or a similar role is desirable. Practical and confident carrying out minor repairs. Comfortable using basic hand and power tools. Happy working outdoors in all weather conditions. Physically fit and comfortable with manual work.
