Site Maintenance / Facilities Operative, Stockport £ competitive hourly rate on a rolling contract Flexible / part time hours available We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Facilities Operative to support the smooth day-to-day running of our client''s office and warehouse premises. This is a varied role suited to someone who will enjoy taking pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient working environment, and who will take a flexible approach to both planned and reactive maintenance tasks.You will play a key role in ensuring that all facilities and equipment across the site are maintained to a high standard, whilst also supporting compliance, safety, and contractor coordination.If you are a practical, hands-on individual who has worked in a previous facilities or caretaker role, and are looking for flexible / part-time hours, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!What will the role involve? Carrying out general site inspections and liaising with security to resolve any issuesMaintaining a clean and organised facilities workspace, ensuring COSHH complianceResponding to reactive tasks and performing a wide variety of minor planned maintenance tasks across the siteConducting all relevant safety checks on a regular basis (e.g. fire door batteries, fire alarms, emergency lighting, PAT Testing etc)Supporting office setups, furniture moves, and meeting/event preparationsMonitoring waste management and recycling onsiteEnsuring contractor compliance and safety, ..... full job details .....
