Site Maintenance Engineer

SITE MAINTENANCE ENGINEER THE OPPORTUNITY Chase Taylor are working with a well-established and successful manufacturer within the window and door industry, who are looking to recruit an experienced Site Maintenance Engineer to join their team. This is a hands-on engineering role supporting the day-to-day operation and maintenance of a busy manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for ensuring production machinery, equipment and site services are maintained, repaired and operating efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical and/or electrical engineering background and experience working within a manufacturing or production environment. Experience within the window, door, fenestration, UPVC, aluminium or similar manufacturing industries would be highly advantageous. THE ROLE Working as part of the manufacturing and engineering team, you will play a key role in keeping production running efficiently by carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across the site. Your responsibilities will include: Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across manufacturing machinery and equipment. Responding to breakdowns and carrying out effective fault-finding and repairs. Supporting production teams with machinery-related issues and minimising downtime.
