Prestige Recruitment Specialists are recruiting for an experienced Site Joiner / Team Leader on behalf of a business designing and building high-quality residential annexes across the UK.

This is a hands-on position. You''ll work alongside a small site team, using your joinery skills while organising the day, coordinating work and keeping standards high. You''ll see the results of your work take shape-and help deliver a finished home that makes a real difference to the customer.

Whether you already lead a team or you''re an experienced joiner ready to step up, this role offers the chance to take greater ownership of projects while continuing to do the practical work you enjoy.

Timber frame, SIPs, modular or offsite construction experience would be an advantage, but it isn''t essential. Strong first-fix joinery skills, sound construction knowledge and the ability to help others work effectively are what matter. Training in the company''s build system can be provided.

• Carrying out first-fix joinery and general construction work on residential annexe projects.

• Organising daily tasks and helping lead a small site team.

• Reading construction drawings and specifications to deliver work accurately.

• Planning the sequence of work and coordinating with other trades.

• Checking workmanship, spotting issues early and finding practical solutions.

• Keeping the site safe, tidy and productive.

• Updating the Project Manager with progress reports and photographs.

• Communicating professionally with customers at their properties.

• Helping bring each project through to completion and handover.

You''ll be a capable, dependable joiner or carpenter with strong first-fix experience and a good understanding of how buildings go together.

You''ll be confident working from drawings, thinking ahead and keeping work moving. Just as importantly, you''ll set a good example: high standards, clear communication and a practical approach when plans need adjusting.

Previous supervisory experience is welcome, but you don''t need to have held a Team Leader title to apply.

• -1820 per hour, depending on experience.
