Site Installation Operative – Workshop & Site South Devon | £30,000–£36,000 + Benefits
Full-time, Permanent | UK Travel Required

RGB Recruitment is working with a specialist engineering business looking to recruit a practical, reliable Installation Operative to join its growing team.
This is a varied, hands-on position combining workshop preparation and assembly with installation work on engineering projects across the UK.
You'll be working with a small, experienced team, supporting the preparation, installation and maintenance of mechanical and structural components.
The Role

• Preparing and assembling mechanical and fabricated components
• Loading, unloading and preparing equipment for site
• Using hand and power tools for drilling, fixing and installation
• Carrying out basic concrete, formwork and pipework activities
• Maintaining workshop equipment, tools and stock
• Working safely on site, following RAMS and supervisor instructions
• Travelling to projects across the UK, including overnight stays

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in construction, mechanical installation, fabrication, maintenance or similar practical work
• An HNC Level 4 in Mechanical/Civil Engineering or a relevant Level 3 NVQ qualification
• Confident using hand and power tools
• Full UK driving licence
• Able to commute to the South Devon workshop
• Happy to travel and work away during the week when required
• A reliable, practical approach and good awareness of health and safety

CSCS, experience working around water and small concrete works would be advantageous, although additional training can be provided.
