Your new company Due to continuous and ongoing works for a high-profile client, one of Northern Ireland''s leading construction contractors is now seeking an immediate Health and Safety Officer to join the team on a long-term programme of works based at a major manufacturing facility in Derry/Londonderry. With decades of experience delivering award-winning projects across the commercial, education, healthcare, pharmaceutical, industrial and fit-out sectors, the contractor has established a strong reputation for quality, safety and successful project delivery throughout the UK and Ireland.Your new role As Health and Safety Officer, you will be site-based and work closely with the Project Management and Construction teams to ensure the highest standards of health, safety and compliance are maintained across a range of ongoing construction and refurbishment works within a live manufacturing environment.Your duties will include carrying out regular site inspections and audits, reviewing and monitoring Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), delivering site inductions and toolbox talks, investigating incidents and near misses, maintaining health and safety records and documentation, and ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, company procedures and client requirements.You will also work alongside subcontractors and site personnel to promote a positive safety culture whilst providing practical advice and support on safe systems of work across all site ..... full job details .....
