Site Foreman / Manager - Fitout

A Major construction contractor is seeking a Foreman / Site Manager to work on a multi million pound project based in Somerset.-

As a Foreman / Site Manager-you will have a build background and provide supervision of the works and control of a team comprising of Gangers and direct labour force. Supervision and control of the works of Subcontractors throughout the project duration.

What you''ll be doing

As a Finishing-Foreman you will:

• Provide supervision and coordinate the work team
• Allocate daily responsibilities and communicate updates
• Guarantee all safety and quality measures are met throughout the project
• Input into the production of Work Package Plans and Risk Assessments
• Provide suggestions and recommendations for Temporary Works solution
• Identify potential hazards and proactively implement actions and controls
• Monitor the performance of plant operators
• Carry out Safety & Environment Tours.

Who we''re looking for

As a Foreman you will have:

• Proven experience of working as a Foreman
• Experience of Construction/New Build/ Fit Out related project
• CSCS/SSTS/SMSTS Gold Card
• Good health & Safety knowledge
• Tier 1 experience would be beneficial
