Promote and maintain the highest standards of Health, Safety and Environmental compliance across all site activities. Ensure all subcontractors comply with site standards, health & safety requirements and project specifications. Allocate labour and resources daily to ensure works are adequately resourced by competent personnel. Ensure all required plant, tools and materials are available, reporting shortages to the Site Agent or Project Manager. Review work documentation to ensure all information is suitable and sufficient for the planned activities. Accept and manage permits, ensuring they are included within work packs and issued to the relevant workforce. Carry out daily setting-to-work briefings with operatives, supervisors and subcontractors. Deliver and record Daily Activity Briefings, Pre-Start Briefings, Toolbox Talks and End-of-Shift Debriefs.
