Site Fitter

A specialist Engineering organisation based in Horsham are looking for a proactive and hands-on Site Fitter to join their team on a permanent basis. The role will involve supporting plant installation projects and carrying out essential maintenance and site preparation tasks. This is a varied and practical role suited to someone who enjoys working in different environments and problem-solving on the job.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with plant and equipment installation on client sites
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance on plant equipment
• Carry out tank cleaning and preparation to ensure safe operation
• Undertake site preparation works ahead of installation and servicing projects
• Apply and manage chemical treatment processes in line with safety guidelines
• Ensure all work is carried out safely, following company procedures and industry standards

What is required:

• Previous experience in a similar role (site fitter, plant operative, labourer etc)
• Practical, hands-on approach with good problem-solving skills
• Willingness to travel to different sites and occasionally work flexible hours
• Strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
