Site Engineer

An established civil engineering and infrastructure contractor is looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join their team in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. Responsibilities for Site Engineer: Establish level and survey control for contracts and set out detailed works as per contract drawings Ensure records are accurate and comply with organisational and legal requirements Resolve unexpected technical difficulties and problems as they arise on site Produce procurement schedules and liaise with the procurement department to ensure adequate site resources Produce ITPs, Task Briefings, and 2-week look-aheads in conjunction with the Site Agent Produce Site Diaries and Allocation Sheets Promote best practice in health, safety, and environmental compliance at all times Ensure work is delivered defect and snag-free Essential Requirements for Site Engineer: Previous experience in setting out on civil engineering projects Sound knowledge of construction methods, health and safety, and legal regulations Fully conversant with robotic total station or EDM instruments Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent Excellent communication skills Desirable: Experience using AutoCAD and MS Office Temporary Works Coordination CSCS card, Cable Avoidance training, and First Aid training NEBOSH or IOSH ..... full job details .....
