Senior Site Engineer (SMSTS) – Main Contractor

Location: Kegworth | Hybrid Role | Immediate Start
Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 + benefits

Our client, a highly respected main contractor, is seeking a Senior Site Engineer to join their expanding technical team. With a proven track record of year-on-year growth for over a decade, they are well known for delivering projects with a focus on quality across the commercial, residential, educational, and healthcare sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Setting out for commercial, residential, educational & healthcare projects.

2. Managing projects up to slab level under SMSTS.

3. Ensuring quality and compliance at every stage.

4. Coordinating with site managers, subcontractors & consultants.

5. Preparing & maintaining accurate site records.

6. Assisting with project planning and programming.

7. Monitoring H&S and enforcing site safety standards.

8. Carrying out QA checks and maintaining high build standards.

9. Liaising with clients and stakeholders in a professional manner.

10. Supporting junior engineers & developing the team.

11. Problem-solving on-site challenges with practical solutions.

12. Driving delivery in line with budget & programme targets.
