Site Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our team on a large-scale housing groundworks project. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established contractor delivering high-quality residential infrastructure, including roads, drainage, and plot works. Key Responsibilities: Setting out for foundations, drainage, roads, and external works Managing and interpreting technical drawings and specifications Ensuring all work is carried out in line with project requirements and tolerances Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and clients Conducting site surveys and maintaining accurate records Supporting quality control and health and safety compliance on site Resolving technical issues as they arise Requirements: Proven experience as a Site Engineer within groundworks or residential housing projects Strong knowledge of drainage, foundations, and infrastructure works Proficient in the use of surveying equipment (e.g. GPS, Total Station) Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings CSCS card (essential) Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Desirable: Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or related field Experience with volume housing developers SMSTS or SSSTS certification What We Offer: Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunity to work on a long-term, high-profile project Supportive team environment with career progression opportunities How to Apply: If you are a motivated Site Engineer looking for ..... full job details .....
