We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a drainage package in Reading, with an immediate start available. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable civil engineering contractor delivering key infrastructure works.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Setting out drainage works in accordance with drawings, specifications, and programme
  • Supporting the delivery of deep drainage, pipework, and associated civil works
  • Working closely with the Site Agent and Project Manager
  • Managing QA documentation, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and as-built records
  • Coordinating subcontractors and monitoring progress on site
  • Ensuring installation of drainage systems is carried out to required standards
  • Carrying out site surveys and resolving technical queries
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Site Engineer on drainage or civil engineering projects
  • Strong experience in deep drainage and pipeline works
  • Good setting out and surveying skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Valid CSCS card
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
