Site Engineer

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a leading civil engineering contractor on a major earthworks project. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a large-scale scheme delivering drainage and associated civils works.

Site Engineer Roles & Responsibilities:-

• Managing day-to-day engineering activities across earthworks and drainage works
• Carrying out all setting out duties for drainage and associated civils works using GPS and total station
• Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme, drawings, and technical specifications
• Overseeing QA/QC processes and maintaining accurate site records
• Completing and managing inspection and test plans (ITPs)
• Reviewing and managing site documentation including RAMS, permits, and QA records

Site Engineer Requirements:-

• Previous experience as a Site Engineer on earthworks, drainage, or civils projects
• Strong setting out experience (GPS, total station essential)
• Proven experience with drainage and associated civils works
• Good understanding of QA/QC procedures and documentation
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Relevant qualification (HNC/HND/Degree in Civil Engineering or similar)
• Valid CSCS card
• SMSTS or SSSTS preferred
