Site Engineer

We are currently recruiting for an experienced-Site Engineer-to join a major highways scheme in-Crawley.

The Role

As Site Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of works on a busy highways scheme, ensuring construction is completed safely, accurately and in accordance with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting out and surveying for highways and civil engineering works
• Checking levels, line and grade
• Providing technical support to the Site Management team
• Completing QA checks and maintaining accurate site records
• Working from construction drawings and specifications
• Liaising with subcontractors and site management
• Ensuring works are delivered to the required quality and programme
• Assisting with engineering and technical queries on site

Requirements

• Previous experience as a-Site Engineer on highways/civil engineering projects
• Strong setting-out experience
• Competent with relevant surveying equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent experience
• CSCS
• Strong communication and organisational skills
