Site Engineer

Our client, a leading civil engineering contractor, is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a major clean water infrastructure project.

The works involve cofferdam construction and backfill, clean water pipework installation, and associated heavy civils works across a long-term clean water programme.

Site Engineer Responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, and to specification
• Setting out and surveying for cofferdam, backfill, and clean water pipework works
• Ensure all works are delivered in line with health & safety, environmental, and quality requirements
• Produce and maintain accurate site records, as-builts, and QA documentation
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure efficient delivery of works
• Assist with RAMS, permits, ITPs, and temporary works documentation
• Monitor progress against the programme and report on site activities to the project team
• Liaise with the Site Agent, Sub Agent, and design teams to resolve technical and operational issues

Site Engineer Requirements:

• Proven experience working on clean water, utilities, or heavy civils projects
• Experience with cofferdams, backfill operations, and pipework installation preferred
• Strong setting out and surveying background within civil engineering environments
• CSCS card required
• Blue EUSR Water Hygiene card required
• SMSTS or SSSTS beneficial
• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient with surveying equipment and site engineering documentation
