      <description>Location: Glastonbury | Salary: &amp;pound;390/day CIS | Type: Contract | Our client, a tier 1 Main Contractor are working on a number of significant civil engineering projects in water related civils in the region are now looking for an experienced Site Engineer. This assignment will commence any time between 21st September initially for a couple of weeks holiday cover in Ringwood but will then be based on a new site in Glastonbury thereafter, and will be a long duration assignment for any suitable person, due to the framework nature of the contracts.  The role involves Site Engineering, dimensional control and coordination of site activities and assisting with short and medium term planning, quality control etc.  The ideal candidate will possess an engineering qualification to a minimum HNC standard and must have worked specifically on water projects previously e.g. STW, WTW, large diameter deep drainage, pumping stations, Service diversions or reservoirs etc.   This is the chance to work with a very well respected tier 1 contractor with a realistic prospect of ongoing local work continuity if desired.
