Position Details Role: Site Engineer Location: Thurrock, Grays Rate: £450 Umbrella, Inside IR35 Contract Dates: ASAP to 31/03/2027 Key Responsibilities Health, Safety and Environment: You will ensure a relentless focus on Zero Harm and support sustainability activities. You will also produce Task Briefing Sheets, carry out safety inspections, and contribute to Permits to Dig and Safe Systems of Work. Engineering Control: You will be responsible for setting out from primary control, providing sketches of setting out information, and maintaining survey equipment and testing regimes. You will also read drawings and specifications, and navigate design models using Navisworks. Quality and Productivity: You will produce as-built drawings and handover documentation, complete Quality Check Sheets, and maintain accurate daily diaries. You will also measure actual materials used against theoretical measures and mark up weekly progress against the programme. Commercial: You will produce accurate daily diaries of resources (including labour, plant, and subcontractors), produce weekly measures, and understand how to record additional works.
