We have an excellent long-term opportunity for a project in Ipswich requiring heavy setting out experience.We are urgently seeking a dedicated and technically proficient Site Engineer or Senior Engineer for a 12-month contract on a significant utilities and civil engineering project in Ipswich. This role is heavily focused on setting out and requires a candidate with meticulous attention to detail and proven experience in this area.This is an immediate requirement, and we are looking to get someone started on site as soon as possible.Key Responsibilities:Perform high-volume, precise setting out for all site works, including utilities, drainage, pipework, and associated civil engineering elements.Establish and maintain site control, datums, and survey stations.Interpret complex engineering drawings and translate them into accurate setting out on site.Manage and ensure the quality of all technical aspects of the works, ensuring compliance with project specifications.Conduct as-built surveys and maintain accurate site records.Liaise with the site management team, subcontractors, and designers to resolve any technical issues.Uphold and enforce stringent health, safety, and environmental ..... full job details .....
