Site Engineer

Quick Staff UK is recruiting an experienced Site Engineer for an established civil engineering contractor delivering construction projects across the UK.The successful candidate will primarily support construction projects north of Birmingham, with travel to other UK sites as required.This is a hands-on engineering role involving setting out, surveying, quality control and technical support across civil engineering, groundworks and concrete construction projects.Key Responsibilities: Carry out accurate site setting out and surveying activitiesEnsure works comply with drawings, specifications and safety proceduresMonitor site progress, quality and technical requirementsMaintain accurate site records, reports and as-built drawingsAssist with technical queries and non-conformance reportsSupport site teams and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery Key Requirements: Proven construction site engineering experience essentialCompetent using setting out and surveying equipmentExperience in civil engineering, groundworks or concrete constructionGood knowledge of AutoCAD, Excel, Word and Microsoft ProjectValid CSCS cardFull UK driving licenceStrong understanding of construction Health and SafetyGood communication, organisational and problem-solving skillsExperience working on electrical substations or National Grid projects would be advantageous Hours, Salary and Benefits: Competitive salary, depending on experienceMonday to Friday, with working hours subject to project ..... full job details .....
