Site Engineer

We are recruiting for an experienced Civils Site Engineer to join our growing team, working for a well-established civil engineering contractor on the delivery of a new build school project.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile education development, taking responsibility for setting out, quality control, and ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest standard.

• Setting out works using GPS and robotic total station equipment.
• Producing accurate records and as-built surveys.
• Interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Supervising subcontractors and ensuring work is completed in accordance with design requirements.
• Monitoring quality and ensuring compliance with project specifications.
• Assisting with planning daily site activities alongside the Site Manager.
• Maintaining accurate site records, diaries, and quality documentation.
• Ensuring health, safety, and environmental standards are met at all times.
• Identifying and resolving engineering and construction issues on site.
• Liaising with clients, consultants, and the wider project team.

The project includes a range of civil engineering works associated with the construction of a new school, including:

• Earthworks
• Foundations
• Drainage
• Roads and car parks
• Kerbing and paving
• External works
• Utilities and associated infrastructure
