The main focus of the role is preparing sites for PSTN replacement, as well as supporting broadband, telephony and network upgrades. What you will be doing Visit sites and carry out network and telecoms surveys. Record existing broadband, PSTN, telephony and network equipment. Check services such as lift lines, fire alarms and warden call systems. Support PSTN, FTTP, SIP and broadband migrations. Install and troubleshoot network equipment such as Switches, Routers, Firewalls and Wi-Fi. Work with suppliers, telecoms providers and internal technical teams. Help resolve technical issues during project delivery. Keep network, site and project documentation up to date. What we are looking for Good networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing and switching. Experience with WAN, broadband or MPLS. Experience carrying out technical site surveys.
