      <description>Location: Gloucestershire | Salary: &amp;pound;450 - &amp;pound;500/day Inside IR35 | Type: Contract | Our client, a prominent player in the highways sector, is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join their team on a major infrastructure project in Gloucester. This is a freelance contract opportunity, operating inside IR35, and perfect for professionals with robust experience in highways, drainage, and earthworks. You will be taking ownership of key sections of the project, ensuring timely and quality delivery on site.   Key Responsibilities:    Setting out and surveying for highways, drainage, and earthworks packages  Managing sections of work to ensure delivery to programme and quality standards  Ensuring compliance with all health and safety procedures on site  Preparing and implementing risk assessments and method statements  Coordinating subcontractors and managing daily site activities  Carrying out quality checks, inspections, and working to Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)  Maintaining accurate records including site diaries, progress reports, and as-built information  Liaising with site management and design teams to resolve technical issues    Job Requirements:     Essential:    Proven experience as a Site Engineer or Section Engineer within civil engineering  Strong ...</description>
