Site Engineer

Our client is seeking a Site Engineer for a contract role on a major wastewater treatment works project near Leicester. Working within the water and civil engineering sector, the successful individual will provide technical support across a heavy civils and utilities environment, with a strong focus on accurate setting out and effective project delivery.Key Responsibilities:Carrying out accurate setting out for civil engineering and utilities worksUsing engineering drawings, specifications and surveying equipment to support site activitiesChecking dimensions, levels and alignments to ensure work is completed to specificationProviding technical guidance to site teams and subcontractorsMonitoring construction progress and supporting the resolution of technical issuesMaintaining accurate site records, quality documentation and as-built informationWorking in accordance with health and safety, environmental and quality proceduresCollaborating with project managers, supervisors and delivery teams to support successful completion of the worksJob Requirements:Experience working as a Site Engineer within civil engineering, heavy civils or utilitiesGood setting out experience on construction or infrastructure projectsUnderstanding of wastewater treatment works or water industry projectsAbility to interpret technical drawings, specifications and construction informationKnowledge of surveying principles, levels and dimensional controlStrong understanding of construction health and ..... full job details .....
