Site Engineer
Role Overview We are looking for a competent and experienced Site Engineer to work on a golf course construction project in Luton. The engineer will be responsible for setting out works across the site, with a particular focus on drainage and contour/profile lines. This role requires someone who is confident working independently and is highly competent using Trimble GPS equipment. Key Responsibilities: Setting out drainage runs, manholes, catch pits and associated drainage works. Setting out contour lines, formation levels and profiles for golf course shaping and earthworks. Setting out from supplied drawings, models and coordinates. Using Trimble GPS equipment for accurate setting out and surveying. Checking levels, falls, gradients and coordinates against the design. Providing clear setting-out information to machine operators, groundworkers and site teams. Carrying out as-built surveys and recording completed works where required. Identifying discrepancies between site conditions and design information and raising them with the project team. Working closely with the Site Manager, earthworks/shaping teams and drainage crews. Maintaining accurate site records and setting-out information. Ensuring works are carried out accurately and in accordance with drawings and specifications. Essential Requirements: Have previous experience working as a Site Engineer / Setting Out Engineer. Be competent and confident using Trimble GPS equipment.
