Site Engineer

Overview: We are recruiting an experienced Site Engineer to support the delivery of civil engineering and water infrastructure projects on the Thames Water framework. The work includes sewer construction, open-cut trenching, pipeline installation, manholes and upgrades to existing wastewater networks, supporting the development and improvement of essential infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Engineer with strong setting-out skills and experience in water, utilities or general civil engineering. Working closely with site management, engineers and subcontractors, you will maintain accurate survey control, set out works to design specifications and help ensure activities are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Carry out setting-out duties, establish survey control and maintain accurate levels in accordance with engineering drawings and project specifications. Support the delivery of sewer and utility infrastructure, including open-cut trenching, pipeline installation, manholes and associated civil engineering works. Operate robotic total stations, EDM instruments and other surveying equipment, ensuring setting-out accuracy and regular checks. Work closely with site management, engineers and subcontractors to coordinate daily activities, resources and materials.
