Site Engineer

About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Site Engineer to work with a Main Contractor in Coventry. -This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in construction and civil engineering, who can support the successful delivery of works on site while ensuring quality, safety, and programme requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting out and surveying works in accordance with drawings and specifications
• Supporting the day-to-day delivery of civil engineering and construction works on site
• Ensuring works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with project requirements
• Reviewing drawings, specifications, and technical information to support site delivery
• Liaising with project managers, site managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
• Carrying out quality checks and ensuring work meets the required standards
• Maintaining accurate site records, including setting out data, as-built information, and daily reports
• Assisting with the preparation of RAMS, work packs, and technical documentation
• Monitoring progress on site and helping to ensure works are completed to programme
• Identifying and resolving technical issues as they arise on site
• Supporting health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance across all works

Key Requirements

• Previous experience as a Site Engineer, Engineering Surveyor or similar within construction and civils
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, site processes, and technical drawings
• Experience in setting out and surveying using relevant equipment
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications accurately
• CSCS card essential
• Full UK driving licence preferred
