Site / Setting Out Engineer - Civil Engineering
Location: Bath
Rate: -400 per day (Outside IR35)
Start Date: 18th May
Contract Length: Minimum 7 months (strong potential for extension)
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site / Setting Out Engineer to join a well-established civil engineering contractor on a major infrastructure scheme in Bath. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term contract on a project involving road construction and drainage works.

• Carrying out accurate setting out for civil engineering works, including roads and drainage
• Use of Total Station and GPS equipment for surveying and site control
• Interpreting technical drawings and ensuring works are delivered to specification
• Supporting site teams with engineering expertise and technical guidance
• Ensuring quality control requirements are met and recorded
• Assisting with as-built surveys and maintaining site records
• Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and design teams

• Proven experience as a Site / Setting Out Engineer on civil engineering projects
• Strong background in road construction and drainage works
• Proficient in the use of Total Station and GPS equipment
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD
• Valid CSCS card
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

• -400 per day, Outside IR35
• Minimum 7-month contract with strong likelihood of extension
• Immediate start available (18th May)
