Nightshift Site Engineer - BlackburnLocation: Blackburn Hours: 19:00 - 04:00, Night Shift Rate: 550 per shift CIS Contract: Initial 12 weeks, with scope for extension Positions: 2 Nightshift Site Engineers We are currently seeking 2 experienced Site Engineers to join a highways project in Blackburn on a nightshift basis. One position is expected to run for approximately 8 weeks, with the second position expected to run for approximately 12 weeks and beyond, subject to project requirements.The RoleWorking as a Nightshift Site Engineer, you will provide engineering support across the site, ensuring works are set out accurately and completed in accordance with project requirements, drawings and specifications. Key responsibilities will include:CAT scanning and identifying existing servicesIssuing permits as requiredSetting out kerbs, CKDs and gulliesMarking up identified dig-down areasProviding accurate as-built documentationProgress reporting and recording completed worksSupporting the site team with engineering requirementsWorking closely with the Site Management and construction teamsEnsuring all engineering activities are carried out safely and accuratelyEssential RequirementsPrevious experience working as a Site Engineer, ideally within highways/drainageExperience with CAT scanningExperience setting out highways/drainage worksValid CSCS cardValid SSSTSHighways Passport or relevant highways accreditationStrong understanding of setting out and site engineering ..... full job details .....
