About the Site Engineer job The purpose of your role will be to play a central role in maximising production asset availability by identifying root causes of failures, delivering rapid responses to breakdowns, completing planned maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. You provide training where needed, maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety, and promote teamwork across production, technical, and development functions to ensure safe, efficient, and hygienic manufacturing. Key tasks Ensure plant performance meets agreed targets, ideally reaching 100%, by planning and completing tasks ongoing task schedules. Optimise line efficiency, encourage strong communication between departments, act as a role model for operational standards, carry out daily checks, complete required documentation, and ensure work orders are prioritised, executed, and communicated effectively. Support machine operation training, complete maintenance projects and modifications, and contribute to continuous improvement across engineering and site services.
