Site Engineer

Job Description:

Join one of the most successful privately-owned and family-run construction groups in the UK as a Site Engineer. This permanent role, based in Essex, offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to excel in a Tier 1 contractor setting.

Key Requirements:

• Experience:-Previous experience with a Tier 1 Construction company is essential along with-Department of Education-experience and knowledge.
• Certifications:-SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS qualifications required.
• Education:-Degree educated with a background in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

• Setting out site engineer works according to drawings.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to plan and execute engineering tasks effectively.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work, identifying any issues promptly.
• Assist in the preparation of technical reports, documentation, and progress updates.
• Manage on-site resources, including labour, equipment, and materials, to optimise productivity.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety legislation and company policies.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to electrical components or systems during construction phases.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of Setting out according drawings.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members, contractors, and clients.
• Relevant engineering qualifications or degree in civil engineering.
• Valid UK driving licence is preferred for site visits and supervision purposes.
