Site Engineer - Civil Engineering / Energy National - UK-wide travel required + lodge Permanent £40,000 - £45,000 + car/allowanceWe are currently recruiting for a Site Engineer to join a growing civil engineering contractor delivering infrastructure projects across the UK.This is a permanent opportunity suited to an Engineer who enjoys being site ased and is comfortable travelling and working away from home. You''ll be joining an established delivery team working across a pipeline of major civil engineering and energy infrastructure schemes.Previous experience within the power or energy sector would be beneficial, but it is not essential. Candidates from wider civil engineering backgrounds including highways, water, rail and heavy civils will also be considered.The RoleWorking alongside Site Managers, Project Managers and engineering teams, you will provide the technical support required to deliver projects safely, accurately and to specification.Your responsibilities will include: Setting out civil engineering works and maintaining dimensional control across siteChecking levels, coordinates, benchmarks and setting-out informationCarrying out engineering surveys and maintaining accurate site recordPreparing and working to Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)Monitoring the quality of workmanship and construction materialsSupporting works involving drainage, concrete, foundations, piling and associated civil engineeringReviewing drawings and specifications and identifying ..... full job details .....
