Site Engineer required for 6-8 weeks in Oxford. Must have / be able to hire own kit. Site Engineer will be the designated Project Engineer, therefore the technical POC. Good possibility of additional work to follow on.Responsibilities
Setting out and quality checks for structural steelwork, drainage works, underpinning, earthworks and excavations, groundworksCheck setting out informationEstablish primary and secondary dimensional controlCheck and record control pointsComplete Permit to Load/StrikeRequisition materials for in situ concrete works and obtain approvalsSupervise concrete deliveries inc pre and post-pour InspectionsMaintain site diary inc maintaining good housekeeping on siteManage and co-ordinate construction of all structural elementsSet out and maintain structural accuracy and main and internal gridlines inc levelsImplement the Project Management Plan, engineering procedures and practicesEnsure that appropriate quality records are being producedUnderstand and interpret engineering drawings and specificationsCompilation of as-built drawings and create construction drawings for informationExperience with AutoCad and Total StationCompilation of QA sheets for sub and super structural elementsAdvise on buildability issues as requiredAssist to prepare scope of works and reports as requiredCarry out site surveys, levelling and setting outWorking out cut and fill quantitiesManaging subcontractors, Cut and Fill /Groundworker/RC /Steel inc checking setting out of subcontractor workJob Info
